The SCA is an organization dedicated to the study and recreation of the Medieval Ages before the year 1600AD. Our fighters construct their own armor, recreate both armored and rapier fighting, and construct their own arrows for Medieval archery. Members also sew their own clothing, compose songs and dance routines, brew beer, mead, and wine, and weave tapestries. Basically any function of a Medieval society such as: woodworking, blacksmithing, storytelling, heraldry, cooking, jewelry making, etc. is done by someone in the SCA! You don't have to have clothes or a name picked out to play, nor do you need to be a member. Just contact the local Seneschal, and he will get you started or answer any questions.
